Connections of Australian superstar Winx remain unconvinced about making the trip to Royal Ascot this summer.
The six-year-old is unbeaten in her last 22 starts for Chris Waller and the possibility of a European trip had been discussed following her third Cox Plate success at Moonee Valley back in October.
However, co-owner Debbie Kepitis has reservations about travelling to Britain with the Street Cry mare, although she would relish the challenge of running at the Royal meeting.
She said: "There are a lot of horses that just do it but that is the concern, a mare can be a big concern with travelling.
"All that aside, if you can prepare the horse and she has done all that she can do, and the trainer has looked at it and he feels that she can do it, we feel as owners that we want to do it - you tick all the boxes and you may do it.
"There are a lot of things that have to happen and she has to perform well in Australia and she has to keep coming back after every run and eating up. You need a happy horse that is performing well to get on a plane.
"I've grown up in a family that have raced horses for a long time, so for me Australia is the pinnacle.
"When she won the first Cox Plate, it was 20 years after my father's horse Octagonal won the Cox Plate, so that was a pinnacle and dream to me, so to go on I have everything I've wished for.
"It would be great to create history and win a fourth Cox Plate, but it is not the be-all and end-all.
"Ascot is awesome. Anyone who enjoys racing wants to go to Ascot, or more specifically Royal Ascot - as a person I can't get there quick enough.
"If she can get there and that is what is decided, that is a different matter."
Kepitis was speaking at the Longines World's Best Racehorse ceremony in London on Tuesday, with Winx having been named the runner-up to Arrogate for the title of top dog.
She said: "It's the most amazing feeling being involved with a horse like Winx. She does it all on the track and is the star.
"We've been taken on this rollercoaster ride. We have been taken to the top of the rollercoaster and it doesn't seem to be coming down.
"I'm just on the best ride with the best people, the best horse, the best jockey and best trainer."
